Green-Wing Teal Anas Crecca

This is a very social bird except when breeding and then they form monogamous pairs. They are known for being the smallest "dabbling" duck and the only duck that can scratch while flying. Their diets may vary due to location but they prefer to eat mainly water invertebrate and seeds. They grow to 14 inches.
